I recommend having a motivating example before you bother showing learners the things theyll be able to do afterwards; if they dont understand why its important, they wont care what they can do. Im concerned that women will be excluded if such a focus is put on gaming skills -- or at least the gamer label. Im just raising some questions. For example. If I notice Im losing someones attention in class, Ill instantly make direct eye-contact, maybe raise an eyebrow, and start talking directly to that student, and most of the time. Im the same when teaching face-to-face -- big user of the laugh to create connection. you get their attention again.

There are great tools with a short learning curve (for example, Adobe Captivate and Articulate Presenter) and tools with a longer learning curve that are really excellent (for example, Lectora, and Flashform). There seems to be a mix between contract and full time positions, and Im not sure how to read into that.
