But trust me when I tell you this, that it has no bearing on my thoughts of this year’s conference, because overall it was the best one ATD wise that is, I have ever been to. Well hello there!

Seriously though, there were plenty of vendors making their first debut at the show, and that went from great to, uh, yeah. The biggest aspect, well, at least from my writings about the show, and vendors who need a course in how to do a trade show with you know prospects walking about; was something I will get to shortly.

There are already a couple of vendors, in the works with it, and at least one, Firmwater, who says they have added it to their learning system (I have been promised a demo). Thus vendors, will need to add it, regardless of whether they the vendor has hired generative engineers/developers or went third party. Those were the days.

Oh, and not the first vendor I’ve seen this route, but that was more than a decade ago. Well, I guess for ILT, and even then as time has evolved, it hasn’t. So, P2P hits mainstream, okay, quite a few vendors. I see some vendors including a note or comment capability to the content curation, especially with the mobile video. I’ve yet to see this extensive set of options, but I do believe that some vendor (at least a few) will offer some type of capabilities, although not as robust.

SaaS – I would prefer a vendor who offers SaaS only and not a SaaS or client hosted or G-D forbid client hosted only option. For a vendor who has been around for more than 14 years you would think they finally get the whole value of asynchronous based learning. Systems that earn an “A” Epsilen. Classroom mgt.
