Over 90% of LMS vendors had their sites available only in English; so the potential customer could not view it in any other language.

Moodle can be a worthwhile system but it requires heavy customization, dedicated IT person who has Moodle skill sets (ideal), in-house support (because when end users can’t figure it out – they will come calling YOU) and costs that many folks fail to realize. As such, do folks really want parents to have their own portal?

Custom domains – rather than have yourcompany.vendorname.com, some systems are now offering custom domains so that your learners see whatever name you create.com and remove the vendor name. As for customization, always be a tad concerned. Some systems will do some customization at no additional charge. But when the system offers to to a full customization of everything you want, then ask yourself is this really the system for me? So how does that play with your major customization system?
