PNG) patterns into Lectora and Photoshop. Now, Adobe Illustrator comes with several patterns within the application. I can then save out the pattern as a PNG. Then to make it tile as the background in Lectora, just go to the Design Ribbon, to the Title Background section, select the image drop down and import your PNG.

and until Adobe borrows some code from another group to make beveled edges, there is a simple hack to get this done for buttons, captions and shapes. I recommend no shadows because it is harder to crop that out in the screen capture and Adobe Captivate has you covered with the ability to add shadows to buttons and shapes and Text Captions.

The logos are on multiple master slides and are png files. They don’t have Captivate and don’t want us to replace images and republish multiple modules every time they want to resell the courses. They haven’t asked yet, but we know the client’s name is also on the TOC/project info.

To create the graphics themselves, I use Adobe Illustrator. Once I have some of that set, I add the mouse PNG to a track above the images. For those that use Adobe Illustrator, you can download the graphic source file for the Snagit for Chrome tutorial here. And whenever I need the mouse to move, I drop in an animation.

Hello, In both versions of Cap 2017 and 2019, I’m having an issue where I’ve got a small png file, 75 kb, that I’m using as the retry message fill when someone gets a quiz question wrong. I’ve customized the Incorrect and Retry shapes by selecting Fill and using the same image in my library.

If you want just a picture, use png. Find the yellow folder icon and press it. You know what to do now. Find the folder with the desired picture. If you want some background use jpg. So nothing surprising here. In my case, I went to my fat-cat folder and chose one of the cats as a future fill for my button.

When importing such a file an individual folder will be created (under the root, not under Images), with the same name as the PS-file, and having all the layers converted to PNG images (there is a screenshot later on showing such a PS folder). Same is valid for managing Adobe stock assets, which can be inserted in CP. External Library.

I will take a screenshot of that slide while it is playing to save as a PNG (or other image format) and then hide the slide to avoid it to be included in output. When the image is ready, set up the Preferences, Project, Start and End: turn off AutoPlay and indicate the poster image.

The first thing that I don’t quite understand the purpose of is the inability to use grouped objects or to place png or jpg files on top of each other within a fluid box. I’m not going to complain about the problems, but just mention what lowered the overall good impression of this approach.

Correct state: shape is filled with a PNG representing a green tick symbol. Wrong state: shape is filled with a PNG that is the Cross symbol. This can of course be all you want: text, text + image, text + image + audio. I kept it simple.

Similarly, if the parent has a black solid fill, whereas the child box has a transparent PNG image fill, then the combination of both is the final result on stage. You also have to take care of eventual have a lower opacity, which means you will be limited to PNG images, because JPEG doesn’t support transparency. The only possible workaround I see at this moment is to create an image with text in the appropriate font, size and color.
