Before making a video it definitely helps to know which shots you want to shoot. It was fun to storyboard, you see that you may be using the same words but that you have completely different images. Often I answer that you definitely learn through twittering because you can link through to blogposts, articles etc. (cartoon via Rob Speekenbrink ) I get involved in lots of discussions whether Twitter - is learning (or nonsense). People are sceptical on what you can learn through 140 characters. Basically defending the 140 characters.

The 3P model definitely helped to surface these kind of ideas. Truly innovative was the idea to steer away from instruction and ask people for feedback instead of educating them. This called was the "teach-back". How did the models help? I think the Jukebox model stimulated that group to think about a mentor-buddy system.

This definitely informs whether you want to devote time to it. I also meet people who don't see it as learning but as distracting. If you see it as something distracting you from your work, it is costing time. If you see it as part of your own learning trajectory and you value it, it comes naturally to invest time.
