I have to use the Twitter client on iPad/iOS, since they’ve taken away Tweetdeck on the iPad (grr). And… Honorable Mention: to round out the picture (10 is such an arbitrary number ;), sharing collaborative documents, e.g. Google Docs , is a major way to collaboratively process and learn together.

The editing interface lets you switch back between the two (or do picture in picture) very easily. But I won’t give Captivate a 4. It’s a nice utility that’s very easy to use.

Air Display is an inexpensive app that turns your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch into a wireless secondary display that works while on the same network as the main device. Also on show was the HTC Vive - a VR suite which provided a truly immersive experience (pictured). In fact, it was surprising how inexpensive but robust some of the alternatives were in comparison to Cardboard. The technology has plenty of potential to be used across the curriculum, and not solely in creative arts.

How do we know that the little boy in the picture is actually doing anything with the iPad other than looking at it, or randomly touching it? It is claimed that the 'digital birth' of a child is around 6 months.

I didn’t win, but paid an expo price (or so I thought) for a HyperShield stylus for my iPad. The stylus is far better than my finger for such purposes, and though my writing makes a doctor’s prescription look legible, I liked changing inks, drawing pictures, etc. They fit easily in my luggage and are now a travel partner.
