Preferably on/off synch, but as I mentioned in my LinkedIn mini-post, most learning system vendors still are not on/off synch with said mobile app. 3rd party content providers include Open Sesame, LinkedIn Learning and Skillsoft to name a few. . An app is often listed as a mobile app.

5 Linkedin Learning – They call themselves, uh, yeah, okay, not sure. The content is both a mix of old – via Lynda.com and new, via Linkedin Learning. I’d say, perhaps the best out there, because it leverages a lot of data that comes from Linkedin itself. UI and UX for learner side is slick.

LinkedIn Learning – Overrated. Here is my review on LinkedIn Learning with the Hub. Check them out on FindAnLMS.com. The content is so-so, but folks overall love it. I question how long some one can watch a video, err series of videos in one setting or even 10. Some content is outdated. The Hub angle?

Steve D (from Fuse) wrote a wonderful piece of LinkedIn, around content with an example of a topic his son was trying to learn. The person who presented it, was talking about this nifty trick you can do in Excel.

LinkedIn Learning which straddles the fence between an LEP and a LMS, but seems more leaning towards an LEP (IMO), doesn’t allow you to upload your own content, nor select from a variety of 3rd party providers – it is Lynda.com content that comes with the system. . They can place this in the LinkedIn Profile. .

This rarely occurs, and yet with sites such as Linkedin, having a LMS administrators group makes so much sense. You can also see if your LMS vendor has their own Linkedin or Forum group and join it. You don’t have to share proprietary information, but you could share problems, issues and difficulities.
