Last week was the Learning Solutions Conference 2023. One of the ways I have learned to get more out of the conference is to both take notes during the sessions and then to review those notes after I get home. The Guild program team prepares decks of 20 slides of weird and interesting images.

Morph works across two slides, recognizes any objects that are on both and seamlessly transitions from one slide to the next. Changing perspectives – off-slide content. But the first thing to consider is that it’s not just about the content on your slide. The first slide has the image, the ‘to be’ text and a grey box.

There was usually so much information on the slides that it was nearly impossible to retain anything.  Once I see a slide that says I’m on slide 1 of 80, I tend to immediately shut down.  Instead of a bunch of bulleted text, the slides contain text captions that pop up and then disappear after a few seconds.

I present at a lot of conferences and workshops. Live Transcriptions & Closed Captions in Google Slide Presentations. Here’s an example of live transcription and closed captions in Google Slides. I find the transcription on Google Slides is a lot faster and a bit more accurate than in PowerPoint.
