My Moodle training programme is going well at the College. I ran the first Quiz training, though with hours reduced from 3 to 2, I have had to devise a strategy of core and optional activities for the candidates, but judging from the feedback reviews it went extremely well.

Started the Moodle staff training this morning and after a few network problems the course went well. Have setup a Moodle training forum. All the users now have a login and click-n-go guide for the summer holiday. Ran out of time and could not cover glossaries, but this will be a good test for the guide.

The training course for the LEA (Local Education Authority) went extremely well, a small group of only five probably helped. We worked through all the introductory how-to exercises in Moodle and had time, about 20 minutes, at the end to discuss wider issues such as Learning Objects and Content Repositories.

A busy half tern for me last week as it turned out because I was scheduled to deliver training for Turnitin to staff on the coming Monday, which is today. We finally had it up and running by Monday 28 Oct, so not a lot of time as it turned out to put those training materials together. And did the training session go OK, its seems so.

Cash incentives are apparently going to be on offer, as are extra training sessions, sticks, what sticks. However its not that good everywhere, and this means that some courses are only partially served by Moodle, while with others its not really happening at all.
