Both of these tools are much more conversational tools for me. In Twitter, I have people that I follow in order to listen into their conversation. I have my friends who I want to get together with, see what they are doing, have conversations with. However, this is not really the case with the way I use Facebook and Twitter.

I will have conversations with people who are experts in their area and get their answers and even ask them about other answers I'm getting. That happens all the time and is made even harder by the fact that confidence level about answers is inversely proportional to expertise (see Vic's comment in Social Media Conversations ).

Q : Curious--when he does a follow-up conversation w/ people on linkedin that respond to his inquiries, as in the ex. I've never had someone who accepted a request for a 30 minute conversations ask to be paid for that conversation. The "mention me in your blog" is normally only with people who seek a conversation with me.
