iSpring Free is basically a PowerPoint presentation plus a quiz, but this might be an option for simple samples. Open source and additional tools. Although employers are likely to look for Storyline and Captivate, you might use other tools. Camtasia and Lectora are also options.

Microsoft PowerPoint isn’t particularly exciting either, but it’s still a tool I use for storyboard, mockups, simple graphics, flowcharts, and more. Once in a while I actually use it for presentations too. Google Docs is where I keep track of my time spent on projects , create quick drafts, and other tasks.

Unfortunately, this was a 3-hour meeting with a string of PowerPoint presentations. A PowerPoint presentation will work just as well with WebEx (or just a recording). Should we mute ourselves when we’re not presenting? Lesson learned: if you’re going to use this, don’t waste it on lecture.

Honestly, PowerPoint is a decent tool for simple image editing. I often use PowerPoint to remove backgrounds or make other quick changes. Note: The above list assumes that you are already familiar with Microsoft Office programs, including PowerPoint. Photos and Images. I use the open source tool Audacity for audio editing.

For example, I recently needed to format Word handouts for a PowerPoint presentation. When we think about the five moments of need , this strategy works best if people are applying what they learned (and may have forgotten) or are solving problems. I found a 90 second tutorial on YouTube and was able to finish the task.
