Michele Martin’s blog has been in my RSS Reader and blog roll almost since I first wrote a blog post. Donald Clark, of Plan B fame is another whose blog has been in my RSS Reader and blog roll since I began blogging. Well I didn’t get voted Blog-o-the-Month for September. But I reckon I had a good shot at it.

I'd decided to catch up on my post reading, reduce the list on my RSS Reader and do some hard thinking rather than writing. This week is proving to be busier that usual for me, with no time to catch my breath, or thoughts in posts, so it seems. But it doesn’t always work out that way, of course. That’s how it’s been for me since the weekend.

But I recommend you pop the address in your RSS reader rather than bookmark the site. You might chuck the address into your RSS reader for future munching. If you enjoy Science, and don’t mind reading online, you’ll never be bored visiting LiveScience.com. You might say, I know lots of Science sites. What’s special about this one?

That's the conclusion I might have come up with when I decided to find out more about how Typealyzer categorises blog sites listed in my RSS Reader. Site analysis I went through the list of blog sites in my RSS Reader. The sites were certainly not chosen at random for they are all selected from my RSS Reader. Right?
Set up my RSS feed and got my comment tracker working. Okay, I've just finished writing my draft on this wonderful idea I had for a post – done all the checking and everything, including checking all the sites in my RSS and done a bit of searching elsewhere to see who's posted a post on the same topic. It's still very new to me.
He reads 500 blogs a day on his RSS Reader. Kevin Hodgson ( aka Dogtrax ) is an amazing teacher, blogger and friend who continues to amaze me with his energy, enthusiasm and inventive ideas that are put into action; this man walks the talk. He was the first person ever to post a comment on my blog.
The other was that I didn’t want it picked up by the RSS Feed, and it wasn’t. Some weeks ago I was moved by a series of posts by Tony Karrer , pertinent to keeping track of posts, indexes and other ancient, twentieth century artifacts. d admired his Blogging Guide for First Time Visitors, which included an index. m glad I built it when I did.
In the past month my RSS reader has been cascading with new posts and my comment tracker effervesced with new comments bursting at the brim. But of course, I only installed my RSS reader and comment tracker when I began the 31 Day Comment Challenge and that was a day or so late. thought these applications always fizzed like that.

But I’m still shocked when only one person in a group of twenty has heard of something like RSS – something that’s been around maybe what…ten years? Of course that insults anyone reading this who doesn’t know what RSS is and I apologize if it does. That may be generous. enjoy the basics. Who am I to judge?

I’ve also found that I manage my RSS consumption much more efficiently on the iPad, although that may be more down to the app I use ( Reeder ) rather than the iPad itself. It’s now two months since the iPad was launched in the UK, and so it’s timely that people are starting to comment on how they and others are using it.

You can purchase an add on module which tosses in things like a RSS feed and some other features, but again, they are limited and so waaay in the past. GeoLearning’s GeoMaestro is a LMS that packs a wallop but at the same time has some features that provide limitations.  LMS Super Plus Features. Widgets. LMS Solid Features. Reporting.

Send this little to all of your friends and colleagues that haven't started using RSS yet. This is a great little primer is from the common craft show: RSS in Plain English Good stuff! Oh yeah! and check out the new USTREAM.tv block in the right column of my blog
Coming back from my vacation, I realized that I needed to go through a clean up exercise again on my RSS feeds. It turned out to work pretty well for me this time around because I have been following the advice I've seen a couple of places: Controlling RSS Overload. The same is true of RSS feeds. 2006" and "Trying Out - Nov.
Week 2: RSS: Day 1. WARNING: Once you learn about RSS and try it, you won’t be able to turn back.  RSS logo. ENTER RSS. RSS is a ‘backronym.’  Instead of you trying to find if information has been updated, the updates come to you through an ‘RSS Reader.’  8217;  Ahhhhh.
One of my 3 sessions at the upcoming eLearning Guild Conference in Boston is about RSS and eLearning. So, it was wonderful luck to find a great post from Alex Iskold on the Read/Write Web blog called The Future of RSS. In short, because of RSS ubiquity it is now a very attractive delivery medium for all kinds of content.
Social Bookmarking Social Networking Wikis RSSAs background for an upcoming presentation, I wanted to create a page that provides background resources that explain various eLearning 2.0 tools. immediately thought of the Common Craft videos.
