As it were, unless you're talking about Google Alerts and RSS feeds ( listening-type activities ), you should better be communicating personally with everybody who opts-in to your content. But, as you may have heard me say before, "it's all about the AND" Of the five key platforms in which I tend to focus the bulk of my daily online activities (that is, Blogging, RSS, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn), it seems my Twitter list is the one needing the highest maintenance. RSS means "Really Simple Syndication." you can instead subscribe to their "RSS feeds" (I'll show you below) and view updates on one web site containing all those subscriptions. First things first: Sign Up for An RSS Feed Reader 1. [link] / CC BY-NC-SA 2.0. In a nutshell, yes. Easy enough?

Danny was killed on August 29 last year by a driver who prosecutors say may have been texting while driving. killing 25 people and injuring over 130.

But I’m still shocked when only one person in a group of twenty has heard of something like RSS – something that’s been around maybe what…ten years? Of course that insults anyone reading this who doesn’t know what RSS is and I apologize if it does. That may be generous. enjoy the basics. Who am I to judge?

I’ve also found that I manage my RSS consumption much more efficiently on the iPad, although that may be more down to the app I use ( Reeder ) rather than the iPad itself. It’s now two months since the iPad was launched in the UK, and so it’s timely that people are starting to comment on how they and others are using it.

You can purchase an add on module which tosses in things like a RSS feed and some other features, but again, they are limited and so waaay in the past. GeoLearning’s GeoMaestro is a LMS that packs a wallop but at the same time has some features that provide limitations. LMS Super Plus Features. Widgets. LMS Solid Features. Reporting.

Coming back from my vacation, I realized that I needed to go through a clean up exercise again on my RSS feeds. It turned out to work pretty well for me this time around because I have been following the advice I've seen a couple of places: Controlling RSS Overload. One of my 3 sessions at the upcoming eLearning Guild Conference in Boston is about RSS and eLearning. So, it was wonderful luck to find a great post from Alex Iskold on the Read/Write Web blog called The Future of RSS. In short, because of RSS ubiquity it is now a very attractive delivery medium for all kinds of content.
