Just read a great post on tips for managing e-learning projects:

think the most important tip is ‘ Communicate, communicate, communicate!’ I 8217; - I have found we become too caught up in emails and our own deadlines etc that we forget to touch base to see how everyone is coming along.

Learner and Manager packs : The Learner and Manager packs provided information on how to prepare for the training, including a pathway recommending what resources to access and when, tips on getting the most out of the resources etc. The first project i handled was quite a complex one – supporting the rollout of a new system to users across The Netherlands. We produced 10 e-learning modules in 2 languages, support documentation, trainer packs, and an updated e-campus site in under 2 months !

I have been reading through a few of Kineo’s rapid guides and tip sheets and i love them!
The guys at Kineo do a great job at sharing their expertise in the e-learning space. One of their latest papers is “ How to design rapid e-learning blends ”.
It provides a quick and practical guide on how to create blended e-learning in short timeframes and at low cost.

In this article, I go one step further by listing specific, practical instructional design tips that are informed by those theories.
But beware… You will find empirical evidence reported in the academic literature that supports these tips, and no doubt you can find just as much evidence that refutes them. Having said that, however, I do vouch for my tips in terms of my own experience in the workplace, where I’ve applied them In my previous article , I proposed a Taxonomy of Learning Theories to organise a few of the myriad of theories into some semblance of order, and to assist instructional designers in using theory to inform their work.
