Here's a snippet of a conversation we had at yesterday's Social Media Mastermind Roundtable meetup in Orange County. Just as we do every Saturday morning, the meet starts with no agenda but never fails to touch on new/interesting topics. He didn't really say what type of curve, so I had to frame it for myself somehow. can delete spam.

Yesterday I posted a snippet about the case Jacob Swodeck made to an audience of real estate professionals for developing underlying strong professional and business skills. 0160;In that post, I alluded to an "anti-paradigm-shift soap box" I was on just prior to handing the presentation mouse (webinar, y'know) to him. Camtasia?

The snippet above comes from a webinar Jacob Swodeck and I hosted for JaraUniversity a couple of weeks ago about Attracting Sellers and Buyers Through Social Media. 0160;It dove-tailed nicely. 0160;It's tough to create that kind of content without first being a great professional underneath with a healthy pool of knowledge to draw from.

If you've ever participated in a brainstorming session, then you know how quickly a group of folks can fill up a series of flipcharts or the white space on a white board. Like some of you, I've participated in meetings, and facilitated others, where we successfully whittled the brainstormed list down to a prioritized short list. The tools.

I'm following up on my blog post from yesterday (?) on the Top 25 Tool Sets for Learning Professionals. appreciate the effort Jane Hart has put in to compile her list over the last three years. And, while her " Top 100 Tools " list is interesting, my favored list is the one she derives from feedback she receives to the Top 100.

Here's a meeting facilitation technique I sometimes like to use at the start of planning meetings where I sense some "challenging personalities" will be in the mix. In a recent conversation, I was asked what I thought about twitter as a learning tool. Over the course of the past few years I’ve moved from saying “I don’t get it” – to feeling like it’s a good addition to my Learning Tool Set. Second Life truly is a phenomenon. It is exactly what the name and vision imply: an example of a parallel "multiverse". People will learn much in it, as they might alternatively learn via participating on a real -world sports team, running a real-world lemonade stand, or walking around a great real-world city. Supporting mentor/supervisor/guides.
