After months and months of hard work slaving over the implementation of our LMS system. Then many long painstaking hours and overtime hours to get our mandatory core curriculum courses created. The system and courses have been launched to the entire organization. True to form they hate change. Why can't we do this on paper? Okay now I'm whining.

I had feedback today on a course, that I thought was quite well done, that made me take a step back and get my back up a little as well. During a recent time crunch and with limited resources I put together a course for Accessibility and Customer Service Standards. tried to explain there were other images of men within the course.

I've been working for months and months to get an LMS up and running for my organization (do a search for LMS on my blog and you'll see the overall journey) now the real fun begins. now have so many people coming to me asking for this course to be created and that one. I'm using Articulate to create courses for our learners. It's all about REUSE!

My notes taken during today's webinar. Presented by Tom Werner & Richard Nantel What do they do? Automate the administration of training. What do they contain? Databases: learners, course offerings, content, progress. Still many different LMS vendors (Brandon Hall tracks 92 of them, adding appx 15-20 each year since 5 years ago when they began.

In a recent conversation, I was asked what I thought about twitter as a learning tool. Over the course of the past few years I’ve moved from saying “I don’t get it” – to feeling like it’s a good addition to my Learning Tool Set. But I also think that there’s a lot more help now around how to make effective use of Twitter as a learning tool.

Second Life truly is a phenomenon. It is exactly what the name and vision imply: an example of a parallel "multiverse". People will learn much in it, as they might alternatively learn via participating on a real -world sports team, running a real-world lemonade stand, or walking around a great real-world city.
