Drupal for Education and E-Learning , by Packt Publishing , walks you through the setup of a Drupal installation, step by step. Since Drupal has no licensing fees, institutions can afford several copies of this book. | CORPORATE ELEARNING STRATEGIES AND DEVELOPMENT SEPTEMBER 19, 2008 Drupal in Education and e-Learning Moodle is already such a fabulous open source system for education that I'm excited to see Drupal compares. The video below is of the author presenting a session on Drupal in the Classroom. I just found out about this book from Helge Scherlund's eLearning News Blog. I'm a big fan of Drupal. I hope this book changes that. Here is more information from the Drupal.org web site. | | SOCIAL MEDIA TOOLS SEPTEMBER 29, 2009 Cooking Up a Collaboration Web Site with Drupal & Open Atrium Think of our kitchen as the Drupal web platform and Open Atrium as our preparation room. With the Drupal platform, Alain was able to design and develop the YRAEH’s collaboration and networking components. Tags: Learning Community purpose cms socialweb drupal openatrium technologies. CLARK QUINN | WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2008 Test LMS The eLearning software I saw was: ATutor Claroline Docebo suite Dokeos DrupalEd Interact Moodle SyndeoCMS It also has a bunch of content management systems, a CRM (SugarCRM) and others. In the past, I've had a few posts around how you can test your courses under an LMS: SCORM Test Test SCORM Courses with an LMS One of the problems cited was the lack of available LMS test environments. Recently I've seen two possible approaches that seem quite interesting - although we've not yet tried them (so I would love to get feedback). You can use a free-trial and then test. MORE >> -
