I just watched a great demo of Adobe’s new baby called Flash Catalyst. What blew me away was the interoperability of the files between all Adobe products – the files go back and forth between Catalyst, Illustrator, Photoshop etc in what seems to the end user a seamless process. I was reading a post recently about e-learning strategies [link] and one of the things that I totally agreed with was the fact that there aren’t that many examples of e-learning strategies available on the internet ! Now as much as I like to take I also acknowledge I gotta give back too !
Things change quite quickly in my workplace – one of the things the L&D team are looking at is boosting our capabilities in the e-learning space. mentioned a few posts ago that we purchased Lectora, this is part of our e-learning strategy. Below is an edited presentation that outlines where we are heading with our e-learning plans.
So first week down – and it’s been pretty much learning in isolation for me this week – a paradox when talking about Connectivism! went through 3 readings – ( [link]. link] and [link] ). at this stage I have questions.I am hoping as the weeks pass I’ll be able to answer them. It’s not just me !! fell off the blogging bandwagon about 2 months ago.i stopped writing and reading blogs. thought it was just me.but I just came across this post Lee had it too ! and I suddenly feel so much better – it’s not just me.it’s a pandemic and i’m not the only sufferrer !! So I don’t feel as bad now.
I have been reading through a few of Kineo’s   rapid guides and tip sheets and i love them!  . The guys at Kineo do a great job at sharing their expertise in the e-learning space. One of their latest papers is “ How to design rapid e-learning blends ”.  . So keep an open mind.and keep it simple !

The Big Question this month are Predictions for Learning in 2008. during 2008. Prediction #2 => Virtual Classroom Tools - Meeting Tool + Second Life Lite A medium size Virtual Classroom / Meeting Tool will announce features in 2008 that are not 3D immersive, but that are more like Mii characters in a 2.5D world.
It's always interesting to look back at the past year - 2008, think about what has changed for me during the year, and think about what that means for the next year - 2009. To do my review, I first looked at what I was writing about and what people were reading on my blog in 2008. June 1, 2008 was when Work Literacy Launched.
